I am so fortunate this company was recommended to me. There is nothing worse than a house without airconditioning in the summer in Atlanta. After a long day at work I came home to a very hot house, within hours Adkins Air was at my house and fixing the problem. Two months later I had the same problem with another unit late at night. Adkins Air came to my rescue within hours early on a Sunday morning at the exact time they said they would be here. It is nice to know there are still reliable and honest people in this world! I highly recommend this company for all your heating and air conditioning needs.

I came home Wednesday evening to discover that the heat in the house was out. Not the best thing in the middle of winter. I did a quick Google search and found Adkins.

The receptionist asked what the furnace was doing/not doing. After describing the problem she said that it sounds like the flame sensor had gone bad. She told me the service visit would be $89.95. I asked her to estimate the cost of the replacement part, she said they're typically around $100.

As much as I didn't want to spend almost $200, I wanted heat more. So I made an appointment for the next morning. She gave me a time window of 9-11am.

Thursday morning she called me to verify my appointment. The repairman showed up around 9:30. After a quick look at the furnace, he said the problem was the flame sensor.

Within 15 minutes, there was heat in the house again. He told me that all he had to do was remove the oxidation from the sensor with a little sandpaper. There was no need to replace the part. All I was charged for was the service call.

He could have easily swapped out the part and made a little extra from the part sales. Instead, he was honest and earned a new customer.

On Friday I received a card in the mail thanking me for choosing his company. I think he'll be getting my business in the future, too. And I'd recommend this company to my friends with confidence.

ADKINS TECHS KNOW THEIR STUFF...
Not only , when I called did their most courteous receptionist say that they would try to work me in to a busy schedule or roll me over to the next day, but when I said I couldn't be home the next day, they fit me in at 6:30 PM today! Now, that is hard working and most appreciated, fair priced at the last minute and I plan to use them in the future!! THANK YOU ADKINS!

I know I was a tough customer. They met my expectations and did a great job. Unit was installed on time and completed without an issue. Good company and would do business with them again.

On the second worse day of the snow, Tuesday, my street was still iced and an Adkins truck drove through my neighborhood. I'm impressed that they got out to help a customer during this cold weather. Some HVAC companies won't even get out to do a call in bad weather.

I have used Adkins on numerous occasions and their response has been great. They are responsive to emergencies and other service calls. They quickly access the problem and resolve them the same way. They have never tried to sell me a new furnace or AC unit. They came highly recommended to me and I would recommend them to you as well.
